Ayaan Hirsi Ali, author of the book Infidel, was born in Somalia and eventually fled to the Netherlands in 1992 to avoid a forced marriage. In 2003 she was elected to Parliament and later, due to a political crisis, was forced to leave the Netherlands.
In response to ongoing abuses of women's rights in the name of fundamentalist Islam, Ayaan Hirsi Ali and her supporters established the AHA Foundation in 2007 to help protect and defend the rights of women in the West against militant Islam.
Ayaan will speak to us about the work of the AHA Foundation and the issues facing women in the West against militant Islam.
